This is a topic that I can relate to. I relate to this topic because I work on more than one book all the time. I will be honest though if you are not a person that finds it easy to work on more than one project at a time, I would not suggest that you do this. Whether you are a new author or not new titles seem to just pop up in our minds all the time. I've gotten to the point where I keep a journal with these titles written down. This way when I finish one book, as a full-time author, I can jump right into the next. This is not meant for everyone but trying to figure out what to write when the time comes is just not for me.
Tips For Writing More Than One Book
1. Stay Organized
Use separate journals for each title and label the cover with the title of your book.
2. Work on each book thirty minutes to an hour the days you decide you want to work on your books.....or work on one book one day and the next, work on the other.
3. Try to stay consistent with working on any title because if you don't its just an idea delayed.
4. When you're almost finished with one of the titles, completely stop working on the other book until you finish the one that is almost finished.
5. As soon as you publish that title, pick the other book back up and start on a completely new title.
This is my formula of success for working on more than one title at a time.
Bonus Tip!
If you are collecting research for a book. Keep your research organized by printing it off the internet and putting your copies in a folder labeled research for then......the title of your book.
